On this trek and climb to Paldor Peak (Ganesh Himal area) offering superb view from Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545ft) Annapurna South (7,219m-23,693ft), 08th highest Mt. Manaslu at 8,163 m, Ganesh Himal Ganesh Himal (7,405 m) Langtang Lirung (7,234 m)  Ghengu Liru(Langtang II 6571m / 21,560ft), Kimshun (6,745m/22,137ft) and Shalbachum(6,918m / 22,699ft) to the south, the Chimsedang Lekh forms a ridge of peaks which includes Naya-Kanga (5,846m) and Gangchempo, Tilman's beautiful Fluted Peak. Beyond it extends to the Jugal Himal, terminating in Dorje Lakpa (6,980m/22,929ft). To the east the upper meadows of the Langtang end in a massive mountain wall, forming the frontier with Tibet.
Paldor Peak (Ganesh Himal area) one of the most unique region due to its scenic and cultural traditional villages with breathtaking scenery, as the walk leads from the picturesque village of Syabrubesi, the trek is moderate with steep uphill for few days, where all types of travelers can join in this wonderful walking journey and the time duration taking about more than a week in the comfort of warm cozy lodge or home stay and camping along the route. 
Paldor Peak (Ganesh Himal area) trek and climb one of the most interesting and fascinating journey leading from warm subtropical, mediterranean of mid hills to alpine climate zone, all these drastic change in temperature found only around southern Ganesh and Langtang Himalaya region, this makes a drastic change in vegetations and its awesome scenery.
This trek leads through many traditional Tamang villages famous for culture and Buddhist religion and as well for mountain and trekking guides they are also well known for making unique wooden handcrafts and Thanka painting.
This remarkable trek starts from Syabrubesi and into enchanting forest of rhododendron, oaks and pines tree lines where the rare red panda, snow leopard roams with other wild life in this beautiful Himalayan environment.
After a great time at Ganesh Himal with a classic climb of Paldor Peak which is at 5,896 meters high offers great technical challenge in some sections as this peak climb is graded as PD+ as per Swiss and French Alpine climbing system, where our expert guides will make necessary arrangement for the climb pitching fix ropes and making ice ledges to make it possible for all group members to reach the summit top of Paldor offering tremendous scenery of Annapurna, Manaslu massive Ganesh Himal, Langtang to Jugal Himal range.
Climb of Paldor Peak which is least climbed trekking peak in Nepal Himalaya so this will be something special and being in complete wilderness for few days and then journey back via an alternative route to Trisuli Bazaar of Nuwakott district, which is few hours’ drive away from Kathmandu, walk with a long descend following the ridge line near Nuwakott and then with a gradual scenic walk to Trisuli town, and then return back to Kathmandu for your international flight after a memorable time with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition trek and climb of Paldor Peak (Ganesh Himal Area).
Day 01:           Meet in Kathmandu after arrival from international flight.
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour at places of interest.
Day 03:           Drive to Syabrubesi 1,460 m - 07 hrs journey.
Day 04:           Trek to Gatlang 2,200 m - 05 hrs.
Day 05:           Rest day at Gatlang for local hike.
Day 06:           Trek to Somdang 3,270m - 06 hrs.
Day 07:           Trek to Ganesh Himal Paldor Base Camp 4,500 m - 05 hrs
Day 08:           Rest day to explore the area and climb preparation.
Day 09:           Climb to High Camp 5,150 m - 03 hrs..
Day 10:           Climb the summit of Paldor and return to Base Camp.
Day 11:           Trek to Pansing Bhanjyang Phedi 3,822m -06 hrs.
Day 12:           Trek to Rupchet 4,000 m - 06 hrs.
Day 13:           Trek to Saline 2,500m - 05 hrs.
Day 14:           Trek to Deorali 1,500m - 05 hrs.
Day 15:           Trek to Trisuli Bazaar and drive back to Kathmandu -05 hrs.
Day 16:           In Kathmandu with sightseeing tour.
Day 17:           Transfer to airport for international departure.

Day 01:           Meet in Kathmandu after arrival from international flight.
Rendezvous in Kathmandu where you will be joined with other members of the trekking team on reaching respective hotels, our guide or group leader will brief information regarding your trekking with do’s and don’ts.
Day 02:           In Kathmandu with cultural tour at places of interest.
As per the time set for sightseeing tour, our city guide will meet in the morning after breakfast  and then depart hotel for few hours in our interesting cultural tour of heritage sites as Kathmandu valley is full of world heritage sites, however some of them been damaged from recent earthquake.
The  tour of holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath ( Little Tibet), Swayambhunath ( Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, afternoon free at leisure for Paldor Peak around Ganesh Himal trek and climb preparation.
Day 03:           Drive to Syabrubesi 1,460 m - 07 hrs journey.
Starting this wonderful journey driving towards North West of Kathmandu passing interesting villages and towns with fabulous scenery of hills, farm terraces and snow capped peaks after the warm area reaching to cooler region at Langtang National Park entrance in Dhunche 1950 meters, the one and the only major town of Rasuwa district and Langtang area, inhabited mostly of Tamang ethnic tribes throughout the area of this trekking.
From here heading downhill for another 2 hours to the fist overnight stop in  Langtang area at Syabrubesi the gateway to Langtang, Ganesh and into Tamang Heritage Trail and as well to the Tibet border at Kyarong just 2 hrs of driving distance from this village.
Day 04:           Trek to Gatlang 2,200 m - 05 hrs.
From Syabrubesi, starting the first day walk of this trip on the gentle winding uphill trail walking on the main motor road for short time and avoiding the main road on the old trekking trail leading to Goljung village, with super views of Ganesh and Langtang Himal, after Goljung village a nice walk with short ups and down path to a large spread out Tamang village at Gatlang for overnight atop in of its few fine and cozy Home Stay cottage and huts.
 
Gatlang village with an old monastery where visitors are welcomed with strong smile and Khada silk scarf of Buddhist religion, culture, afternoon visit the local monastery and make friends with the villagers.
 
Day 05:           At Gatlang with rest day for local hike.
A rest day at Gatlang village, with an optional hike around Gatlang village and to interact with local people and visit the village old monastery, there are many way to spend your day here in Gatlang village.
 
Day 06:           Trek to Somdang 3,270m - 06 hrs.
After an enjoyable and wonderful time at Gatlang village, morning walk leads to a climb through forests, on the criss crossing trail to Khumpu Danda at 3,739m with fantastic views of Annapurna Himal range in the west and view of Langtang Himal in the east, then the walk follows through Mailung Khola, and climb up to the ridge of Tiru Danda and to Pansing Bhanjyang pass.
This scenic path descends through pine and rhododendron forest to reach the new road. Following the road for a while, as this newly constructed road has been extended to the army post at Samathang, our trek continues with a steep climb then reaching our first camping spot near the small Somdang village.
Day 07:           Trek to Paldor Peak & Ganesh Himal East Base Camp 4,500m - 05 hrs.
From Somdang leaving the last village for few days trekking towards the base of Ganesh Himal, morning walk leads to a climb above Somdang village and the quarry of manganese mine explored and made the route here by the Nepal Army, the walk leaving behind the last tree lines, on the uphill path climbing steeply above the river gorge. The walk leads to some rocky section then with a climb traversing towards the north-eastwards to a small valley bounded by moraines below the glaciers of Paldor Peak. Here with suitable spot for the overnight camp for two days, this camp lies beneath the confluence of Paldor West and Paldor East glaciers just north of a fine rock pinnacle that earlier climber named Cleare called 'Neddy's Thumb', at an altitude of 4,500 meters.                    
Day 08:           At Base Camp for local hike and exploration.
A perfect place for rest day and to explore the surrounding area with amazing views of Manaslu and Annapurna range with Mt. Machhapuchhre “ Fish Tail” towards west, and looking north the giant massive peaks of Ganesh Himal, this mountain is clearly seen from Kathmandu valley also on a clear fine day, towards North east view of Langtang and Jugal Himal range of mountains all the way to the Tibetan side of mountains.
A super place for camping of this trekking away from villages and towns in complete wilderness in the harmony of nature of tall mountains that surrounds this small spot at base camp, with a rest day and short climb to nearby hills for more better panorama of mountains where one can view from Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre peak shaped as “ Fish Tail” and towards  north towering Ganesh Himal massif range, Ganesh Himal can views from Kathmandu valley also on clear day, the view continues towards east of Langtang and Jugal Himal range, afternoon preparation for the tough climb to Paldor Peak summit.
Day 09:           Climb to High Camp 5,150 m – 03 hrs.
Morning adventure begins with a steep and stony climb scrambling across the moraine slopes and through boulder towards level glacier and finally to set high camp, after climbing to a small and subtle ponds to the south of the peak called Fang, the crossing icy stream flowing from the glacial pond and on the Paldor East Glacier, in a magnificent amphitheatre of alpine scale peaks, taking whole morning to reach high camp, afternoon with time to sort out climbing gear for early start to the summit of Paldor peak.
Day 10:           Climb of Paldor Peak summit and return to Base Camp.
Starting before the break of dawn following the Paldor Glacier East to the North-East Ridge (Windy Col), and then crossing and climbing a steep snow slope to gain the col, this might be difficult, in which case ascending by the slopes to the left, and climbing diagonally towards a rocky ridge. This can be hard ice sometime, once on the ridge, climb over several pinnacles of loose rock leading to a horizontal snow arêtes that narrows dramatically, following this to the foot of the final 150 meter 492 ft headwall.
Climbing on steep snow to the junction of South-East Ridge and reaching Paldor's summit with panorama of range of snow mountains which stretches from Mt. Maccahapuchare (Fish Tail) in the west all the way across to the peaks of the Khumbu. Shisapangma and the brown hills of Tibetan plateau. After half an hour on the summit, descend carefully along the narrow ridges and then below the spaciousness of the glacier and to high camp, continue downhill walk back to base camp.
Day 11:           Trek to Pansing Bhanjyang Phedi  3,822m - 06 hrs
Today, a long walk starting with scenic steep uphill climb, after a hard climb then it descend towards west bank of the river and then with a climb again into serene forest of oaks-rhododendron-magnolia and oaks tree lines, leading to a small pass at Tiru Danda. From this spot our route leads to a meadow and Shepard’s huts below the pass at Pansing Bhanjyang for overnight camp, this camp offers stunning views across the valley over Khurpa Danda to Langtang  Himal and beyond.
Day 12:           Trek to Rupchet 4,000m - 06 hrs
After a quiet and nice time in this remote spot, morning trek leads towards south, with ups and down path with few switch backs from one side of the ridge to the other, offering fantastic landscapes and snow capped mountain views towards north west and eastern range. After a great scenic walk and dramatic descend reaching the off the end of higher Tiru Danda ridge, and from this spot leafing to overnight camp at Rupchet the highest point of this trekking, camping just before the tree-lines.
Day 13:           Trek to Saline 2,500 m - 05 hrs.
From Rupchet with a nice morning views, our morning walk continues through dense green vegetation and forests of rhododendron and pine trees, then walking on the long downhill path towards Salankhu Khola, back to human settlement after being away from village life for many days in complete wilderness, walk passes through farm lands and small villages and eventually to our overnight camp at Saline village.
Day 14:           Trek to Deorali 1,500m - 05 hrs.
Journey continues along as altitude declines getting into warmer region, walk leads through cultivated terraced farm fields and smaller villages and hamlets making a nice picture of the surrounding landscape and green farm fields, after a pleasant walk crossing a steep small pass and to thickly forested area, then leaving behind the forest towards our last overnight camp in the remote Himalayan country at Deorali a small farm village. 
Day 15:           Trek to Trisuli Bazaar and drive back to Kathmandu - 05 hrs.
Today the last day of this wonderful walking journey, morning walk leads to a long descend through many farm lands and scattered villages reaching into warmer region, after a good morning reaching at a large village at Trisuli Bazaar actually it’s a thriving busy town, at Trisuli after a nice break then a drive back to Kathmandu on the winding downhill road through interesting villages and town then finally concluding this awesome trip back at Kathmandu, after a remarkable trek in the high central Himalaya with an experience of a life time.
Day 16:           In Kathmandu with cultural tour at places of interest.
This day reserved a free day in case of delay on trek due to bad weather conditions, and one can join for sightseeing tour at leisure, depart hotel for few hours in our interesting cultural tour of heritage sites as Kathmandu valley is full of world heritage sites, however some of them been damaged from recent earthquake.
The  tour of holy Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath ( Little Tibet), Swayambhunath ( Monkey Temple) & monasteries, ancient Kings Palaces and courtyard in Kathmandu; after an interesting sightseeing back to the hotel, afternoon free at leisure for individual activities.
Day 17:           International departure for home ward bound.
After a great memorable time and experience with Solukhumbu Treks & Expedition, depart from the hotel to the airport for final departure homeward bound or to respective destinations.
