This trek leads through many traditional Gurung, Magar and Thakali tribe’s villages with its rich old traditions and culture.
This remarkable trek and climb of Thapa / Dhampus Peak and around Dhaulagiri at 6,012 meters high starts from Beni and towards lower Mustang area and then with a great classic climb on leaving the main trail for few days in complete isolation and wilderness, the climb is taken after acclimatization and well preparations, although the climb is straight forward, requires skill of ice axe, crampons and use of fix ropes along the climb, our expert guide will make the it safe and supporting you all the way to the top summit of Thapa / Dhampus Peak at 6, 012 meters, after a great climb descend towards Mustang region via the high pass of French, Thapa / Dhampus pass at 5,360 & 5,250 meters and slowly with a scenic walk ending this beautiful and awesome trekking at Marpha at lower Mustang near Jomsom the headquarter town of Mustang district and then a short scenic flight to Pokhara city where the high snow capped peaks reflects in its serene lake Phewa.
